Who am I?
Well, I am a very complicated, uncomplicated person. I have been married 4 times, divorced twice and widowed once. I have married the same man twice as of March 4, 2011, as God healed our relationship so even though he divorced me in 2009, we are back together now. Like I said, simply complicated.
I believe in truth, pure, unvarnished truth. It often gets me into trouble, because I am told that I am sometimes a bit "unsympathetic". I find way too often people say what people want to hear, and not what they need to hear. That's a lot of what my blog is about, getting down to the meat of what needs to be said, and no pussy footing around with itchy-ear commentary. If you don't like well, turn the page.
Of course, due to my perspective on life as you would expect I don't have a plethora of friends. I am however a cornucopia of useless trivia. I play a mean game of Trivial Pursuit, am awesome at Scrabble (as long as my mother is not in the game), and can't be beat at Clue. I am extremely analytical and have a propensity to see things that many overlook.
My first love is Jesus. I love to read my Bible, and study God's word. Everyday I find something new, something awe inspiring within it's pages. I am forever in raptured by the fact that I can read a scripture ten different times and get ten different concepts all depending on my state of mind. It is why it is the "living word", it ebbs and flows with our state of mind and heart. No other book in the history of mankind has ever done that.
I know that one day, I will be in Heaven with Jesus and my Daddy. I will be home, and all this stuff here, well it will have been but a blink of an eye in retrospect. So in the meantime, I need to make sure that I am doing all I can to help people here. I am not here for me, I am here for you, and everyone around you. I am here for the hurting and seeking. I am here to help them find Jesus and find their destiny as well. I am here to challenge each and every one of us, myself included to become everything He created us to be.
That's my goal in life, nothing else and no one else matters. Jesus, Abba Father, their will and desire for our lives. That's it... Holding on to that, I can like Paul say, I am content in every circumstance, whether I have much or nothing. I am content because I am fulfilling my destiny.
